While Metro Vancouver home sales declined 30.2% this June compared to last, year-to-date sales were up 12.6%. June listings were up 48.3% from one year ago
Detached home sales in June dipped 31.7% compared to one year ago, though year-to-date were up 12.5%. Listings this month were up slightly from one year ago. The June 2010 benchmark price of $795,025 rose 13.4% from last June.
Metro Vancouver townhome sales were down 28.3% while listings for the month fell 3.2%. The benchmark price of $492,861 is up 11.6% from one year ago and down slightly from last month.
The condominium benchmark price rose 9.7% from last June to $391,528. June condominium sales declined 29.7%, while year-to-date sales were up 14.7% from this time last year. Listings for the month were up 6.3% from June 2009.
