Squamish detached home sales in 2009 increased 16.4% over 2008, but fell 30.2% from 2007. The average December benchmark price of $500,874 was down 14.7% from twelve months ago and down .9% from 2007.
While up significantly in the fourth quarter of 2009, Squamish townhouse and condominium sales came in at 13.3% below 2008 sales. Listings for the year were up 5%.
