North Vancouver Homes - The Q Report March 2009.03

At an average benchmark price of $744,495, March detached home prices were up .6% from February, and down 19.8% from twelve months ago. The number of detached homes sold in March was up 50% from February, but down 36.1% from one year ago. The supply of detached homes on the market was down 14.7% from last March.

North Vancouver townhouse benchmark prices averaged $516,538, down 17.0% from one year ago. March sales were consistent with those of March 2008.

Condominium prices in North Vancouver were up 4.4% from February, but down 13.5% from one year ago. Sales jumped 71.1% from last month, but still fell short of last March by 36.3%. The March inventory of condos for sale rose 16.5% from last month, down slightly from March of last year.
