At a benchmark price of $591,188, detached home prices are up 13.1% from one year ago - an increase significantly greater than the 7% increase experienced in Metro Vancouver. The number of detached homes sold in June fell 48% from June 2007. Contrary to the trend in Metro Vancouver, Squamish inventory levels are down 7.5% from one year ago.
June year-to-date sales of Squamish townhouses and condominiums have declined by 27%, and whopping 60.7% this June over last.
