Detached and attached homes in Metro Vancouver experienced record-setting benchmark prices in April 2008, rising 11% and 10.5% respectively over April of last year. Condo prices were up 9.6% from one year ago. As prices stretch the limits of affordability, the number of sales of detached homes, condominiums and attached homes fell between 2.4% and 7.6% in April 2008.
